Two things worth knowing before you buy
A more expensive machine will not make you better. Nothing we recommend crosses $1500, and almost everything sits between $100 and $500. The skills that change how your sewing looks — pressing as you go, cutting accurately, matching needle to fabric — cost nothing and are the whole of The Pattern.
